B Corp Month Kicks Off

March is B Corp Month: an annual occasion when the international B Corp community showcases how businesses can be a positive force for people, the environment, and society. As a certified B Corp, Octatube joins in this initiative.

Octatube continuously explores ways to increase our impact—both within our projects and across our organisation. The B Corp certification requires us to systematically measure, manage, and improve our performance in areas such as the environment, employees, customers, suppliers, community, and governance. It is not a one-off assessment, but an ongoing journey that encourages us to take new steps forward continuously.

As the first Design & Build company in the Netherlands to achieve this certification, we aim to demonstrate that sustainable and socially responsible construction is possible at every stage of the process. Collaboration is central to this approach.

The Social Impact Circle plays a key role in this. This multidisciplinary team, with representatives from Production, HR, Procurement, Sales, and Services, jointly sets the direction, prioritises actions, and ensures the execution of our sustainability and social impact objectives.

There is still much work to be done, both for us and for the construction sector as a whole. But every organisation has the opportunity to drive change—and at Octatube, we are eager to take on that challenge.
