The Innovation Cube: A Showcase for Delft Innovation

During the networking event Delft Verbindt on 3 November, the Delft Innovation Cubes were unveiled: a transparent installation giving innovative Delft projects a literal platform. The cubes were created by Octatube and will become part of a new walking and cycling route through Delft’s Innovation District. They serve as a showcase for everything being developed, designed, and built in the area.

The Innovation Cubes feature circular materials, smart energy applications, mobility solutions, and other ideas that contribute to a sustainable, forward-looking city. Innovatiedistrict Delft invites entrepreneurs, researchers, and makers to submit their innovations, giving them the opportunity to display their work in the heart of the city.

The Innovation Cubes are an initiative of BKS – Bedrijven Kring Schieoevers, Campus District, Ondernemersfonds Delft, and Delft Marketing. Together, they bring the pioneering ideas from the Innovation District to the public—both literally and figuratively.
