Hoisting XXL Lifting Doors

Three oversized glass lifting doors have been hoisted in the north facade of the new central station in Breda. The movable pane weighs more than 1000 kilograms.



The adjacent lifting doors have a width of 7,5 meters each and consist of a portal in which two steel frames are installed. Inside the frames there is a very large double glass unit. The lower pane can slide up behind the upper pane.

Withing the Public Transport Terminal Breda Octatube is also responsible for two large glass fin facades and seven rooflights. These construction parts are also in the installation phase.
