In Munich a large student accommodation has been completed where Octatube has realized two glass acoustic screens to protect the apartments against traffic noise. The building is currently extended, for which a third screen will be realized at the rail side of the building block.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has today received the ‘Groeiagenda’ (Agenda for Growth) for entrepreneurship in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Market Hall in Rotterdam. During the ceremony Nils Eekhout – director of Octatube – was one of three entrepreneurs who entered into dialogue with Rutte about the new Agenda for Growth of the SME.

This year the two-day event Engineered Transparency will take place as usual parallel to the Glasstec in Germany, the internationally renowned trade fair around glass. The Glasstec will open the exhibition halls from 21 to 24 October 2014, while the Engineered Transparency will take place from 21 to 22 October 2014. Mick Eekhout will give a presentation on both days.
