The Gerardus Majellakerk, a monumental church in Amsterdam, has been refurbished to meet the requirements of a specific new user. In a team of the municipality’s urban regeneration department, construction firm de Nijs and the architectural offices J. van Stigt and Zaanen Spanjers, Octatube was responsible for a 256 square meters acoustic curtain wall.

After 8,6 meter long glass fins for the Dutch Architecture Institute (NAi) the Netherlands are now also starting to build extra large glass fins. The shopping centre Metropole Almere will get 10,4 meter long glass fins (made out of one piece). The project is a design by Format Architecten.
