Since this morning cyclists and pedestrians are crossing the train tracks at Utrecht Central Station via the Moreelsebrug. Octatube is responsible for the engineering, production and installation of all glass balustrades.

Opening first urban fast-charging station in the Netherlands

Today, Fastned and the municipality of The Hague have opened the first urban fast-charging station in the Netherlands. The station is part of a series of five stations that will be realised in the city of The Hague. As a project partner Octatube has been involved since the design phase, taking care of the engineering, production and installation of the canopy. It consists of steel, timber and PV glass.

Masterclass BIM

At the site of the former headquarters of Fortis at the Rokin in Amsterdam two new department stores are being erected. The project has completely been engineered in BIM in a very detailed manner by all parties involved. The buildings have been prefabricated to a very large extend, following the corresponding 3D models. On Thursday the 3rd of November Octatube will participate in a BIM Masterclass on the project.
