In the coming years the city centre of Tilburg will be made more attractive with a number of large-scale renewal and intervention projects. One of these projects is a new connection between the Heuvelstraat and the Pieter Vreedeplein. This is where Octatube is closely involved in the design and realization of a spectacular new shopping passageway with an undulating roof.

Since this morning cyclists and pedestrians are crossing the train tracks at Utrecht Central Station via the Moreelsebrug. Octatube is responsible for the engineering, production and installation of all glass balustrades.

At the highly prestigious Glass Supper in London last night, Octatube received an international award for façade engineering excellence. The Van Gogh Museum’s Glass Entrance Building gained a special commendation for the Façade Of The Year 2016 Awards in the category New Build.

Opening first urban fast-charging station in the Netherlands

Today, Fastned and the municipality of The Hague have opened the first urban fast-charging station in the Netherlands. The station is part of a series of five stations that will be realised in the city of The Hague. As a project partner Octatube has been involved since the design phase, taking care of the engineering, production and installation of the canopy. It consists of steel, timber and PV glass.
